Lean Six Sigma Black Belts are highly trained professionals in Quality improvement methodology, who are able to apply a combination of Lean and Six Sigma principles to business processes. They are well versed in the Lean Six Sigma Methodology, and can skillfully lead and assume full responsibility for large scale quality improvement projects.
They are competent in the use of Six Sigma tools and techniques and standard principles of Lean. A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt has a thorough grounding in all aspects within the phases of D-M-A-I-C (Define, Measure, Analyze, Measure, Control), and can identify non-value-added elements and activities. Six Sigma certified professionals work on continual quality improvement by analyzing and solving quality problems, and creating a high performance organization. The Six Sigma Black Belt is the fifth level of certification, after the Green Belt.
Certified Black Belts should be able to assume team leadership with confidence, and allocate responsibilities and team member roles. This course will give you a thorough and detailed understanding of Six Sigma and its focus on eliminating defects through process improvement and variation reduction. The intensive course is designed to help you navigate the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Exam syllabus, and aim for a first time pass of the Black Belt exam.

While there are no prerequisites required to appear for the IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Exam, it is recommended that those sitting for the exam have some degree of real-world Lean Six Sigma work and project application experience and have undergone the Lean Six Sigma training through a qualified institution (such as KnowledgeHut). Certification

In order to get the professional designation of IASSC Certified Black Belt (ICBB) from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification, candidates must pass the IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Exam with a minimum score of 580 points out of a total potential of 750 points. The ICBB Exam is a 4 hour 150 question, closed book, proctored exam.
