BBA IN AVIATION MANAGEMENT

BBA in Aviation Management offered by IBMR IBS INSPIRE ACADEMY is a 3 years (Six Semesters)
Undergraduate Degree program approved by Govt. of Karnataka and Affiliated to Bangalore Central University.
This programme is for students who wish to combine a business management degree with a course that puts strong emphasis on the knowledge and understanding of the aviation industry.
Students will be given a comprehensive basic education in terms of general business management with emphasis on aviation business management. The goal is to prepare students for professional or executive roles in companies and institutions in the aviation and also with its associated sectors.
Student will gain an understanding of the operational, management aspects of aviation combined with Human
factors, strategic and operational development in aviation.
Students will also have the opportunity to undertake an internship program (aviation associated sector
practicals), this means that as a part of the study, the student will gain real-life experience with the industry
which would give a real advantage when the student is ready for job seeking

Objective

•  The purpose of the program is to develop aviation managers with a rich interdisciplinary knowledge
•  The purpose of this course is to prepare students for full-time work within an aviation establishment
  or its associated sectors that requires them to handle the full range of Operational and Management
  functions.
• To educate students on the principles of Aviation management, management principles, and its
  applications, making Aviation and its related fields interesting, challenging, and fulfilling
• To develop entry and middle-level managers who can respond swiftly to issues pertaining to aircraft,
  focusing on safety, quality, proficiency, and a holistic approach.
• Students’ overall development will be achieved by developing their attitudes, social skills,
  decision-making abilities, goal setting, focusing, and working towards their goals.
• Students will be encouraged to undertake project work relevant to their fields of study during the
  course, which will help them to think beyond the boundaries of the sessions.

Eligibility

Candidates who have completed Two years Pre – University course of Karnataka State or its equivalent are eligible for admission into this course

organisations. These may include management, operations, logistics like cargo and passenger handling,
communications, air safety and accident investigation, customer service, sales or marketing roles.
